Nourish Your Children

We had such a laugh this morning as I opened the back door to take a picture of the new fallen snow,  the cat climbed out from under the steps.  We didn’t know he was hiding there.  It was like a live jack-in-the-box.  That will be a funny memory for us in years to come.  Glad I snapped a quick picture.

A new addition to our household, we have a new pet.  Belle needed a home and we wanted someone to chase the critters out of our yard.  The kids are so excited to train her.  This will be an enjoyable  learning experience for them ‘hands-on’.  Pets can be a way for children to learn responsibility, cause and effect, discipline, and many other character lessons.  The only one who is not happy so far is the cat, but that could change.
